Deep Sea Visitor: This is the most suitable S-Rank W-engine for Ellen as it is her signature W-engine. It increases Ellen’s Crit Rate and has an extra passive effect of boosting Ice DMG. Additionally, its active effect grants extra Crit Rate for 8 seconds after a Dash or Dodge Counter.

A-Rank W-Engine:

Cannon Rotor: This A-Rank W-engine also provides a substantial amount of Crit Rate. Its active effect allows Ellen to deal extra damage to enemies on Crit every 8 seconds.

4 pcs Polar Metal: It’s suggested to farm the full 4 pcs Polar Metal set to further enhance its active effect, which boosts damage for Basic Attack and Dash Attack. Additionally, it provides an extra damage boost after enemies are Frozen or Shattered by Ice element attacks.

Remaining Slots:

2 pcs Woodpecker Electro or 2 pcs Puffer Electro: Use either of these sets based on your needs to increase Crit Rate or ATK%.

Core Pair:

Ellen and Soukaku: This duo forms a definite core pair for the team.

Stun-Role Agent:

Lycaon: Acts as the Stun-role during the Damage period. Lycaon can be replaced by other Stun-role agents as transitional options at the beginning.

Bangboo Choice:

Sharkboo: The team’s first priority as it boosts Ellen’s Energy Regen.
Penguinboo: The second choice if Sharkboo is not available.

Soukaku’s Unique Buff:

Frost Banner: Soukaku’s unique buff.
Fly the Flag: When Soukaku transitions to “Fly the Flag,” she gains a boost in Attack and Ice DMG. When “Fly the Flag” hits an enemy, Reactive Assist is triggered unconditionally. If the next agent is switched in under Reactive Assist, the Attack and Ice DMG buff transfers to the next agent, which in this case is Ellen.

Tankiness Consideration:

Lycaon or Other Stun-role Agents: Ellen and Soukaku are not very tanky, so it’s advised to have Lycaon or another Stun-role agent like Koleda to be the attacker outside the Daze period.

Rotation Summary:

Lycaon: Build up the Daze period.
Soukaku: Switch to Soukaku for damage buff when the Daze period is almost built up.
Ellen: During the Daze period, switch to Ellen to burst damage.
